Bettina Lowe, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Having grown up in Chicago, Dr. Lowe calls Kansas City home. She has lived here for almost 25 years. Dr. Lowe obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the Honors Program at the University of Michigan. She graduated from Medical School at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1993 and was awarded the "Thomas G. Orr Award" for outstanding Medical Student in Surgery. She completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1998. She is Board Certified with The American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Lowe currently serves as the Medical Director of the Breast Center at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
In addition to her fulfilling medical practice, she finds joy in being a mother, being outdoors and traveling with family and friends.
Kristine Freyaldenhoven, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Freyaldenhoven calls the Midwest her home. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has lived in Kansas City for the last 12 years. Dr. Freyaldenhoven attended the University of Kansas. She obtained an undergraduate degree in Psychology and was part of the University Honors program. She then attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha society indicating top 10 percentile of her graduating class.
Dr. Freyaldenhoven moved to Kansas City in 2000 and completed her internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical School. She then began working in Kansas City at her current practice. She is board certified in general surgery with the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Freyaldenhoven also enjoys being a mom to two children and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
